OpenText: Webroot Total Protection product design

Since joining OpenText in April 2021, my team is seeing significant impact from our efforts:

Consumer Digital Life Protection

OpenText acquired Total Defense, a Windows security product similar to Webroot. I provided UX leadership to consolidate this product into Webroot Total Protection, a new UX for macOS and Windows, focused on delivering a modernized, modular set of features paired with OpenText’s BrightCloud threat detection AI.

Under my direction, my team and I rapidly applied design research into the latest macOS and Windows human interface guidelines to deliver a new UI design pattern that works well across each desktop platform. We also explored using APCA color contrast method combined with WCAG standards for accessibility.

The successful launch improved modularity of product features and accessibility of the UI visual design.
